Padma Rajesh Singh is a versatile teacher and artist. She has considerable experience in art education, and has been tutoring groups as well as individuals from various age groups. She is a trained artist who studied at the prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts, M. S. University, Vadodara, India. She has kept up her painting and fine art practice consistently, and has participated in a number of exhibitions and workshops.

Padma has a keen knowledge of the skills and techniques of historical artists, and maintains a keen interest in continuous self- learning alongside her busy teaching schedules in schools, online, and in her studio. Her personal art practice is diverse, and has earned her mastery in a number of areas:

  • Media: watercolour, oil, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, ink, crayon, pencil, mix-media, tempera, fabric dye, earth colours, rangoli, digital art, murals, etc.
  • Materials: paper, canvas, board, panel, fabric, textile, found objects, clay modelling, papier-mache, etc. 
  • Subject matter: composition, still life, landscape, & narrative arts
  • Conceptual interests: feminine world-view, human conception & biology, solipsistic observations of life, nature, and creation.

Her spouse Dr R. K. Singh is also involved in the arts, as he is a noted scholar and expert, on the UNESCO world heritage site – the Ajanta Caves.
