Getting Started is uncomplicated and simple.

Students preparing for tests or wishing to start their orientation in the arts can choose from 3 months or 6 months program to accommodate their needs. Each program is uniquely specialized to meet the individual needs of each student.
Working adults with busy schedules will be able to select a personalized one on one course of study. This course will be tailored to meet the interest and needs of each individual student.

Beginner (3 months)

Month 1/3

 

Introduction – techniques of acrylic painting
Dry brush – front ground, middle ground, and background
Bird – using dry brush without drawing
Object drawing from household items
Still life – fruit and, or vegetable
Month 2/3

 

Sgraffito/ combing/ scratching
Flowers – using direct colours or draw and colour
Objects – any object draw and colour
Human face – draw eyes, nose, ears, lips, and complete face
Design making – geometrical, ornamental, floral or abstract

 

Month 3/3

 

Wet-n-wet – different types of abstract form which can be your painting
Landscape – draw and colour with wet n wet technique
Abstract art form of trees or clouds
Cityscape – sky, land, building, shops, market etc.

6 months

Intermediate (6 months)

Month 1/6

 

Introduction – pencil shading, tonal variation
Object drawing and shading
Variation of grounds
Landscape with shading work

 

Month 2/6

 

Tree study with pencil and dry pastels
Human face study with pencil and dry pastels
Still life (drawing & shading)
Different types of textures with pencil and dry pastels

 

Month 3/6

 

Using colour pencil, dry pastels, and watercolours
Landscape with oil pastel
Landscape with watercolours
Object/ birds/ animals study

 

Month 4/6

 

Using oil pastels for objects drawing
Using dry pastels for birds drawing
How to draw a horse or any other animal
Using different media to colour the animals

 

Month 5/6

 

Watercolour – do(s) and don’t(s) techniques of watercolour
Use of different brush strokes/ lighter to darker
Indian folk art – types and learn (any one type of Indian folk art)
Design – geometrical design, ornamental design, floral design, and abstract design

 

Month 6/6

 

Introduction of acrylic colour – strokes, shading, layers etc.
Stencil/ printing designs
Wet n Wet – creating abstract forms
Sgraffito or scratching – making cards

Advanced (1 year & above)

Individualized Study

Ideal for individuals busy work schedules who wish to nurture and develop their passion for the arts. This program begins with a minimum 10 sessions.

Your interest can be fulfilled with a maximum of 10 classes each.

Custom subjects

Subject customized to meet individual needs and interests. Great for art enthusiasts and amateurs wish to explore possibilities in becoming a professional trained artist or you have a interest of becoming familiar with the various techniques methodologies of the fine arts.

Choose from your desired artistic trends, styles, media, materials; as well as skills, and crafts development.

One on one focus

Tailored to your interests in art, in a way that encourages intellectual engagement with artforms.

Great for people who wish to learn how artists tend to think and function.

The mentorship program is best for long-term pursuits that aim at reaching significant levels of proficiency.

Classes

• Each class 40 minutes
• There are 4 classes per month
• Individual reference will be for each student
• End of 3/6 months course of study the prospective student will be awarded a certificate of fine arts.
• Recommendations and an reference letters will be provided by request at the end of each program of study
